verbos

Affirmative tú commands
When you tell friends, family member, or young people to do something, you use an affirmative tú command. To give these commands, use the same present-tense forms that you use for Ud., él, ella.

Infinitive
Ud./él/ella
Affirmative tú commands
Example
hablar
habla
¡Habla!
Habla español, nada más.
leer
lee
¡Lee!
Lee el libro ahora.
escribir
escribe
¡Escribe!
Escribe tu nombre.

You can tell the difference between a command form and an Usted, él or ella verb form from the context of the sentences. A comma after the person’s name indicates they are being talked to directly. Possessive adjectives can also help you decide if the person is being addressed directly (tu) or referred to in the third person (su).

Marcos lee su libro. (él verb form)
Marcos, lee tu libro. (command form)

Certain verbs, like poner and hacer, have irregular command forms.

Jorgito, ¡pon la mesa! Jorgito, ¡haz tu cama!

¿Recuerdas?
In the direction lines of many activities, you have already seen many affirmative commands.
